Quarantines are the restriction of the healthy. Isolation is the restriction and treatment of the sick.

The list is long but madness drives it. We have had reservations for campsites cancelled due to covid.
The latest Emergency declaration was lifted on Nov. 1st yet everyone is still wearing masks everywhere. Not me, but damned near everyone else. Many businesses and public venues still have seating taped off to enforce social distancing. Classes are mostly still all online. Those that are not have the students spread out to enforce social distancing and enforce masking policy and have the windows all opened. That's not what my sister's friend, a runner, said when she got back from a trip to Australia for an ultra-marathon several months ago. She was there for several weeks, including two weeks of quarantine upon her arrival. (And it was strict quarantine; she was locked into her hotel room and not allowed to leave it.) What's "regrettably" happening to a "tiny" group of people has a way of spreading. They seem to be trying things out on the more defenseless, remote people & areas 1st, so I watch & prepare.
I've also seen video of some kind of police beating the crap out if Australians for straying outside of their permitted zones, or not properly wearing a mask, etc. Sure, the guy on the ground was just 1 person, but the rifle butt pounded repeatedly into his torso was more than a little overkill. We speculated then over whether they had brought in military/police from another country.
Last year it came out that Trudeau hosted Chinese military in Canada to train to fight in cold weather. At the time I feared to train for US invasion. Based on what I've seen on video in other countries, I'm wondering now if it is to subjugate Canadian citizens.

South Koreans testing positive are also picked up by police to be quarantined . You just don’t hear about it but it’s happening and also the government is contact tracing everyone who has exposed to that person via their cell phone .

Yes, I remember that case from the mid-90s. I lived in north London in the same borough whose useless social workers left Victoria to die at the hands of her aunt and the aunt's boyfriend. A real tragedy and I agree - in extremely poor taste.
I still personally don't know anyone who's died in the past 20 months. Not from covid. And not from the jab. Still waiting for the shoe to drop. I know of at least one co-worker who's gonna vax her 10-year-old son. *shudder* I hope he's not the first one in my circle.
