woke is not anti-colonization. woke IS colonization
the first rule of woke club is: "you're pretty much everything you claim to hate"
it is a matter of no small wonder to me the extent to which the essential ideological swerve of the modern day wokester marxist industrial complex (and make no mistake, this has morphed into a full blown industry) has become projection of the wokelords’ own self-hatred and abject failure upon any who would dare gainsay them.

this sort of thing used to be a joke, quite literally. this is a cartoon from former brown daily herald cartoonist jeff shesol’s hilarious series called “thatch” (available on amazon and worth owning). it may well have been more prescient than “idiocracy.”

you can see the obvious parallel. “yeah, we didn’t do the work, but we expect to win cuz, politics. this is not debate. it’s ideological struggle session.”
back then, we used to mock these people and laugh about it. two of “thatch’s” main characters are “politically correct m̶a̶n̶ person” and his arch nemesis who, obviously, everybody was rooting for because back then, humor was allowed to be funny.
no one took these desperately untoughened up buttercups seriously. they were a sideshow, as bereft of power as they were of sense.
but my how things change.
we got 20 years of infestation by these societal termites and their interminable squalling and, astonishingly, they came to actual power. and the jokes were suddenly lost. because you have to be excruciatingly careful about who you allow to adjudicate speech.
the fact is that these ideas have been taken WAY too far and have become noxious and toxic to the point where those espousing them are either actual crazy people or just folks too scared to tell the crazy people “no.”
we coddled them into concussed stupidity, praised vapid viciousness as virtue, and gave them participation trophies when what they needed were lawn darts.
and so generation “should have been left in the car a lot more” has not only lost its way but quite literally become everything they themselves purport to hate and this deep seated self-loathing fuels their unstoppable rage and entitlement machines that so avidly project onto others the very faults that they themselves possess in such over-abundance.
“i am here, i am participating, where’s my prize?” said no society about to thrive. ever.
it's simply amazing the extent to which the people who so vociferously profess to oppose "colonization" seek to aggressively colonize and subjugate everything they touch.
"all spaces are unsafe for anyone who thinks differently than i do."
"all issues are my issue."
these are invasive ideologues.

leaving aside the obvious irony of trans debaters participating in and conquering without an ounce of fight a space they claim unsafe, their relentless moves into positions of institutional power just keep coming.
there is nothing "just" or "inclusive" about this.
it's just naked desire to wield the whip hand masquerading as tolerance and safety.
what they really seek is to exclude as heresy all viewpoints but their own.
this is "anti-colonization" the same way "antifa" is anti -fascist. these “persecution purebloods” want to exclude from discourse any but their own tribe and it’s frankly embarrassing how little struggle the alleged “adults in the room” are putting up in these “struggle sessions” and what ideological and moral cravens the other kids are.
imagine being in the debate finals and having so little game and so little courage that you meekly concede the round because the other side ignores the question entirely and bellows “oppression!”
is this really a mouse you want to give a cookie?
the simple fact is we have allowed these institutions to become all rot and no flower, all rust and no boat. they are failing us, failing these kids, and failing themselves and the sorts of people who have invasively colonized them are increasingly agenda driven loons desperate to project their own infirmities and psychological problems and fragility upon the next generation.
and that has to stop.
people ask “why demand school choice to the point where is supplants and destroys the existing system?”
well, this is why.
why demand free speech absolutism?
because woke dies in ridicule and the rightful realization that it resides in ridiculousness is the path forward.
how differently might that debate have gone had the judges said “you are fools. make a real statement or get disqualified”?
how much more poignant might it have been had “team B” stood up in defense of reason and rationality instead of turning tail and cowering before the struggle session?
people also ask: “so why memes? why not confine yourself to more scholarly discourse?”
well, because
memes are fun
fun is contagious, and
because that which one can lampoon loses its power to overawe
we stand against these people by calling them out, foregrounding their hypocrisy, and mocking their absurdity.
submission to another’s pathology is not empathy, it’s degradation.
it helps no one, least of all the hurtling balls of self-hatred pretending to be progressives.
laughing at these people is civic duty.
and civics should be fun.

You cannot reason with a demoralized person. Or debate them. But you can mock them with memes until they curl into fetal position like the babies they are.

Debate class used to be about persuasive speech, and topics one could see two sides of a story, thereby learning. The first error was such a ridiculous question, and the second was Team A self-censoring out of “ sensitivity”. Thinking is a dying art, and these kids and their coaches fail at teaching real communication.
