as some of you have noticed, i’ve been playing around with substack notes, their short form networked space.
it’s new and small, but has some potential and a nice feel to it. it seems calm and civil compared to the food fight fracas of twitter.
tranquil. contemplative even…
it’s a bit like this:
and, admittedly, a bit like this…
there will be new friends made, new conversations had, and little snippets of snark that i basically seem helpless to stop generating.
stop by and check it out.
not really sure just where it’s going or what it will wind up being for yet, but seems like that’s up to us. so let’s find out.

ok, so here’s the form letter:
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to bad cattitude, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of bad cattitude can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
You can find all gato's notes here:

OK but I have to say, I misjudged Elon. He rightly saw competition and I think has a right to self defense.
